Janeita specializes in both civil and wind energy engineering. Her passion for innovation and renewable energy were nurtured while a member of the environmental club at Knox College in Jamaica. After single-handedly funding a significant part of her BSc, she went on to pursue a part-time MSc in Wind Energy Systems offered by the University of Kassel with specialization in simulation and structural technology. Currently, she is involved in research about aerodynamic airfoil optimization with discrete adjoints in collaboration with a renowned German research institute and the University of Kassel. Through technical writing, she hopes to boost renewable energy deployment worldwide in a transparent, cost-effective, and innovative manner.
